Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement
I’ve been looking forward to Eliza and Timothy’s elopement ever since I captured their surprise proposal last year. In hindsight, we were very lucky that the elopement was able to go forward as scheduled. Their wedding day was just a day or two after the Thomas Fire had started burning in Ventura and the air was already quite hazy and filled with smoke. Fortunately, the haze didn’t really come through in the photos and they were able to have a beautiful and intimate ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.
Eliza and Timothy are so in love and it was so evident throughout their ceremony. Their love for each other and their families was a joy to witness! I was also thankful to work with talented vendors on this elopement, including the always wonderful Lacey with 805 Makeup and Emily Reynolds Design, who created Eliza’s gorgeous bouquet!
